Vidya Vinnakota is a 3D artist and director known for creating narrative-driven

3D work with a passion for tinkering with new technology and generative workflows.

 

She previously worked as a 3D Designer at Apple, and has been involved in

generative model training, animation and design projects for several years on new and upcoming applications and features combining her expertise in tech and art including Generative Emoji and Memoji.

 

She worked as an environment artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios

supporting feature animation pipelines through asset creation, visual

development, and building efficient USD pipelines, Experimenting with VR , procedural generation tools for world-building for large-scale

animated productions including ‘Frozen 2’, 'Raya the Last Dragon’, ‘Ralph

Breaks the Internet’.

 

She contributed to feature film production at Pixar Animation

studios in a 3D/visual development capacity, collaborating within studio

workflows to help build immersive animated environments and assets.
